This runaway British box office smash is a comedy-drama about an Indian-Anglo girl (Parminder Nagra) who dreams of becoming a star soccer player like her idol, professional player David Beckham. Her parents, however, wish merely for her to find a good boyfriend and learn how to cook properly. Through her determination and friendship with another female soccer player (Keira Knightley), she takes the strides to become a winning athlete.
